What ever happened to good, old-fashioned writing? In today’s world of text messages, tweets, and other short posts, the art of writing an effective piece of communication – be it a letter, an email, a thank you note, a condolence card, or anything is – seems to be dying.  But that needn’t be.  This session focuses on some tools and tricks to punch up the written word in your world.

Objectives:

1. Participants will learn how to craft effective, efficient, informative, and persuasive messages, no matter the format or style.
2. Participants will discover ways to improve vocabulary and alter, with clever subtlety, the grammatical structures of sentences in order to achieve the desired results.
3. Participants will understand the appropriate times for various written mediums.
